At Sudbury Baptist Church we are committed to becoming disciples in the whole of our lives.
Our building is situated close to the centre of Sudbury, a Suffolk market town. We are a community of all ages that enjoy meeting together to worship, and encouraging each other to make a difference in the places God has put us.
We are evangelical and Bible based, and open to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
We seek to be a welcoming church to all. Christian leadership is provided by a Pastor and a team of women & men appointed to serve as Deacons by a Church Meeting.
Sunday worship is the focal point of our life together, and all are welcome. Services are informal where we pray and the Word of God is preached. We sing both new and traditional songs of worship. Sunday School runs for children and young people, yet if children would like to stay in for the service they are more than welcome. Sunday mornings are about gathering together in God’s presence, and being there to support and encourage one another in our lives and faith.
We celebrate the Lord’s Supper once a month, usually on the first Sunday morning. All who love the Lord Jesus and are seeking to follow him in their daily living are welcome to share the bread and wine.
We try to be a church family who are a blessing to the world around us. We support the work of BMS World Mission through financial giving and prayer and also other churches and charities.
